What does happiness mean to you?

It’s hard to answer that question in a single day — if it even has an answer at all.
What happiness might be for me, could be something entirely different for someone else.
But… what are the things that make me happy?

Well, writing this blog right now.
A good cup of coffee.
My tarot cards.
Listening to my friend Mattiu complain about his boring art classes, where he learns more by exploring on his own and training his skills than through the abstract theories they usually teach.
Good music playing softly in the background while I write.
The sound of my keyboard as the computer screen reveals these words.

If I had to say, happiness to me is made of small things,
little moments that gather and accumulate throughout the day and night.

It can be something I eat, something I see that inspires me, something I hear, or a space I create for myself to write — like when it’s not raining, but I still play ambient rain sounds in the background.
Pretty metaphors that reflect how I feel and help me express it.

Beauty and lovely things are what bring me joy — not in the sense of beauty as defined by others, but in what feels beautiful to me.
Sensations, nourishing my senses, having new visions, new textures — something as simple as the scent of vanilla in the air can make my day better.

What are the things that make you happy?
